Sunday School:
Sunday School for children is at 9:30 am and is shared with our brothers and sisters of St. James Episcopal Church. Classes are at St. James which is located on the corner of Walnut and Wood Streets. Sunday School is from 9:30 - 10:15, ending in time for our Mass at 10:30 am. Parent, do not neglect the faith formation of your children...bring them to Sunday School and Mass.
Bible Study:
Beginning October 4, 2009 at 9:15 am, we will begin Bible Study at the coffee hour. Entitled: "Conversations over Coffee", we will start with a light consideration of the Sunday Gospel. Future topics are open to suggestion. It should prove a time of growing in God's Word with interesting discussion.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION...
"You're never too old to learn" could certainly never be more true as far as the Christian faith and life is concerned.
We all need to continue learning and growing in our understanding of the Scriptures, the Church, and the Christian tradition.
Parents, it is so important that you provide for your children's Christian training. Bring your family to Sunday School! Sit with your family at Sunday Mass! Your example is the best and most effective teacher!
Do you consider Christian values and morals to be important? Do you want your children to love the Lord and His Church? Then tell them by YOUR attendance on Sunday!
